Collages

Compositional exploration / 2019

During my first year in the Graphic Design department at RISD, the course Design Studio 1 offered a chance to experiment with collages. Of the many I created, these are my favorite.

In the foreground, two farmers are attending to their wheat. In the background are large desert cliffs, behind which are multiple images of the sun setting at the same time on different days of the week.

Collage almost entirely pink, in the bottom left corner stands a man looking and pointing up towards a floating magical castle above him.

A giant monkey stands tall over a snowy slope where many people are skiing and snowboarding. As the Massive baboon towers over the people watching them, a demon whispers terrible things into its ear.
